Parking permits

A parking permit allows for a nominated vehicle to park longer than permitted in a signed parking area, 1P or greater. There are four types of permits available: resident, community service organisation, temporary or special events and work or construction zone.

Note: Signed parking restrictions apply until a parking permit has been issued.

Resident parking permit

Residents living in a signed parking area, 1P or greater, can apply for a resident parking permit. Find out more or apply.

Community service organisation parking permit

Community service organisations can get a parking permit for vehicles used to carry out work. Check eligibility, apply for, or replacement a permit.

Temporary or special event parking permit

Work or construction zone parking permit

A work parking permit may be issued for up to 14 days for part of a road adjacent to a building or construction site. Check eligibility and apply.

Cancel a parking permit

Cancel a parking permit online if you no longer live at the property or are no longer the owner of the vehicle nominated on the parking permit.
