Cancel a parking permit

Parking permits must be cancelled if you are no longer the: 

  • owner or occupier of the property nominated on the permit
  • registered owner of the vehicle nominated on the permit.

You can cancel your parking permit online. If you are unable to submit your application online, contact Council.

How to apply

Step 1.Sign in to your Online Services account

Sign in to Moreton Bay Online Services. If you do not have an account, you can register.

Step 2.Go to 'Enquiries'

Once signed into Online Services, select 'Enquiries'.

Step 3.Select enquiry type

Search 'Permits and Licences - Local Laws and Public Spaces'.

Step 4.Start your application

Click 'Start' to begin the process.

Step 5.Select the cancellation field

In the field 'I want to apply for’, select 'Cancellation of an existing parking permit' from the list.
