What is the Learning and Business Centre (LBC) doing to help stop the spread of COVID-19 and provide a safe facility for hirers?

The Learning and Business Centre will provide:

  • Professionally cleaned facilities
  • Hourly disinfected facilities
  • Multiple wall mounted and free-standing hand sanitiser stations
  • Rest room facilities with refreshed soap and paper towel
  • Individually portioned and packaged catering and condiments
  • Single-use tableware

Are there limits on the number of people allowed per room?

To comply with Queensland Government restrictions, we are reducing the usual maximum capacities of our rooms. Review our current COVID-19 capacities for more information.

Will you increase your room capacities if Government restrictions allow?

In time, we may increase the current maximum number of attendees permitted in each room if Queensland Government further lift restrictions. We will communicate this to all clients and on our website when applicable.

How do I request a booking?

Complete and return our 2020-21 Room Hire Application(PDF, 318KB) form, which also references our COVID-19 Terms and Conditions. Ensure your Public Liability Certificate of Currency is sent with your Application form, and also refer to Queensland Government’s Public Health Directive as needed. After receiving your booking request, we will issue an invoice for which immediate payment is required. Once payment is received, your booking request will be processed and a confirmation notice and tax receipt will be emailed. All booking requests will be managed on a first in first served basis. Unfortunately, we do not hold dates or take tentative bookings.

Are walk-in bookings/site inspections permitted?

We request people phone (07) 5433 3700 before arriving for a last minute/walk in booking or site inspections, to enable us to monitor patron numbers and ensure we remain under the maximum allowed number of people in a particular space.

Do I need to provide public liability insurance?

Yes, all hirers are required to provide a copy of their current public liability insurance for a minimum of $20 million. This is required before a booking can be processed.

Do you provide catering?

Yes, we do. Our current Catering Menu has been specially designed to lessen the risk of contamination during this COVID 19 pandemic, coming pre-packaged for your convenience. Orders are required by 12:00 PM on the Wednesday of the week prior to your booking. Payment is required at the time of ordering.

Please note: Due to our catering licence, outside food isn’t permitted in the Learning and Business Centre. You can still enjoy outside food on another level of our building or outside in the beautiful Town Square.

Is the LBC accessible for wheelchairs?

The LBC has been designed to ensure that people with specific access requirements are able to easily use and enjoy our facility. Disability access parking bays are available under the building next to the Lower Ground Entry doors, with wheelchair access into and around the building via ramps and lifts. The internal toilets are also wheelchair accessible with a designated disability access toilet on each level. You are very welcome to inspect our venue prior to booking to ensure the facility meets your requirements.

Where is the best place to park?

Substantial all-day free parking is available in the multi-story car park on the western side of our building within the Caboolture Hub precinct. Additionally, free time-limited parking is also available under and around our building. Ensure to check car park signage for time limits.

Are there public transport links to LBC?

The Caboolture train station is approximately 300 metres from LBC. There is also a Translink bus stop directly at the front of the building on King Street.

What is appropriate attire?

As a minimum for general admission, patrons must be appropriately clothed for a business space. Patrons with bare feet will not be permitted entry.

Do you have ATMs?

Unfortunately, there is no ATM within the venue however there is an ATM is 50 metres away on King Street.

I've left something behind. Who do I contact about lost property?

If you believe you have left something behind, contact us on (07) 5433 3700 or email Caboolture.Hub@moretonbay.qld.gov.au with a description of the item so we can check lost property.
