Environment centres

Environment Centres are closed due to Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Council will resume normal operations gradually when it is safe to do so, further advice will be provided in the coming days.

Visit City of Moreton Bay's environment centres to learn about local flora and fauna. Entry is free, with workshops, educational displays, and nature trails to explore.

Take the time to discover the environment centre grounds. Open during the day, use the picnic and barbecue facilities for lunch or try the playgrounds for all-abilities.

Schools and small groups can request to book an educational tour of our environment centres. Find out more about the environmental education program and tours

Volunteer at the centres

Get involved and volunteer at Council's environment centres. You could assist with basic maintenance duties of the grounds or welcome visitors into the centres.

Volunteering with our centres is a great way to learn about Moreton Bay's diverse ecosystems. You will also learn new skills and meet people with a similar interest.
