North Lakes Library training rooms

North Lakes Library is accessible by wheelchair.

Please inspect the venue prior to booking to ensure the facility meets your accessibility requirements.

• New hirers are required to read and sign a booking/condition of hire form prior to the first session or booking.
• Payment must be made at the library during opening hours and prior to the commencement of the meeting. Refer to the booking/condition of hire form for payment options. 
• Bookings can be made in person, via phone, email or online.
• Bookings times include setting up and tidying up after meetings, and the room must be vacated within the session times allocated.
• Repeat bookings can be made for 6 months only and will be reviewed after that time.
• Tentative bookings will be held for one week. 
• Cancellations are to be made at least one week in advance.
• Repeated failure to notify of cancellation may result in refusal to accept future bookings.

Each computer room is furnished with:

• 9 computers plus 1 trainer computer
• overhead data projector - this is connected to the trainer computer
• additional connections include HDMI, video, audio, mini USB and access to free-to-air television
• whiteboard wall (markers and erasers supplied) located on the same wall as the projector, allowing simultaneous use, and/or sections of the partition wall
• Windows 7 with Microsoft Office 2016 and internet access
• dimmable lighting
• Wi-Fi

Both rooms can be hired and combined with the projectors linked for larger groups.

Community not for profit fee applies to:

• groups who can prove their not for profit status
• non-commercial groups or individuals who do not charge membership or attendance fees (apart from covering meeting room costs) and are not conducting a business or selling or promoting products or services

Session times:

• 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
• 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Rallies, petitioning on issues and any other activity that may cause disruption to other users are not permitted.
