Making a complaint about a food business

If you need to report a concern about a food business, such as if you have become unwell after consuming food, you can lodge a request online.

Council investigates concerns such as:

• foodborne illness (food poisoning)
• unlicensed food businesses
• food related complaints (food hygiene, pests, food handling, cleanliness and maintenance issues).

Council does not investigate concerns about:

• food quality (flavour, appearance, texture etc).
