Individual achievement grant

Individual achievement grants are offered under two categories:

  • Youth achievement category - for young people who have qualified or been selected by a peak body to represent Queensland or Australia in their area of interest
  • Commonwealth and Olympic Games category - for residents competing at either the Commonwealth Games or recognised Olympic events.

When to apply?

  • Applications can be submitted at anytime
  • Applications are accepted up to three months before or after an event
  • Outcome notification - approximately 4 weeks after application submission.

What is the grant

For individuals who have achieved outstanding results in their chosen field, funds are available to residents of the Moreton Bay Region who have qualified or been selected by a peak body to represent Queensland or Australia.

Who can apply

Youth Achievement: For young people who have qualified or been selected by a peak body to represent Queensland or Australia in one of the following areas of interest:

  • sport and recreation
  • environment
  • arts and culture
  • academic excellence
  • community leaders and ambassadors
  • heritage and history.

Commonwealth and Olympic Games: for residents who have been invited to represent their field at either a Commonwealth or recognised Olympic events.
