So we're Stationary Aid We're a charity that collects used and unused stationery. We go through a process of cleaning, sorting, sanitizing, and making as new as possible. And then we distribute this stationery to children who go without through a variety of different associations and community groups. And we work with a lot of community groups to go through the process of the cleaning and the sorting.
But we're diverting from landfill and we're helping children who are in need.
Stationary Aid was founded in June 2020, and we are currently on target for the start of this school year to support over 3500 students with full student book lists to start school.
For us. It's not about us. It's about, problem solving and fixing the problem that we set about to fix, which is, collecting used, and reconditioning school supplies and redistributing them to the thousands of students across Queensland that need support annually with resources.
