Deception Bay Library Park

Have you borrowed a book from the library and are now looking for a tree to curl up under? Take a stroll through the green space of Deception Bay Library Park.

This tree-lined parkland has plenty for children to explore. They can venture out from the kids' aisle of the library to the play equipment outside. There's a climbing fort, a slide and a swing set located on a softfall surface to help minimise injuries from falls. Parents and caregivers can supervise from the seats nearby.

When you're hungry, use the electric barbecues to prepare a hot lunch. You can eat beneath the large picnic table area or choose from one of the covered benches throughout the park.

For sea views, head across the road to Captain Cook Parade Park. It's a serene park with views of the Glasshouse Mountains, and a bookable wedding area.
