The project is located at Nolan Park, Kenworth Place, Brendale. The project scope comprises construction of a new BMX facility to create a home for the Pine Rivers BMX Club from their existing facility at England Park, Brendale. This project will be delivered in multiple stages. The civil component will be constructed first, these works will include site earthworks to establish a base pad for BMX track development, stormwater management, and access road. The building component will commence following the civil works.
The objective of the project is to provide a regional BMX facility which will meet the long term needs of the club and create the opportunity to host regional, state and national standard competitions creating further economic flow-on effects in the local economy.
This Unite and Recover Community Stimulus Package project is a joint initiative of Moreton Bay Regional Council and the Queensland Government.
