Arthur Hayes Community Complex in Deception Bay is a peaceful site for everyone to check out and visit.

Use the complex's dedicated car park to make your next day at the park an easy one. You'll have seamless access to the kids' playground, Maota Fono and the community hall nearby.

The complex has exciting features for little ones to enjoy. The partially shaded kids' playground has climbing structures, slides, and swings for boundless fun. Parents and caregivers can supervise from the nearby benches.

There's plenty of green space to enjoy kicking a ball around, playing a game of frisbee or unfurling a picnic rug in the sun to read a book.

The Maota Fono is a sacred and traditional Samoan Meeting House. You're welcome to use the Maota Fono to seek refuge from the sun or rain, or to relax in. Out of respect for this cultural building, do not ride skateboards, bikes or rollerblades in the meeting house.

You can also visit the Deception Bay War Memorial, which honours local service members who served in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. The memorial features a monument, plaques, and military crests, offering a quiet space for remembrance.
