Burpengary Community Hall - Supper Room

The Burpengary Community Hall is a large multi-room venue located next to the Burpengary Sports Fields Complex and Burpengary Library. The grounds feature a playground, barbeque area and skate park. Conveniently located close to shopping centres and eating areas, the venue is ideal for larger events, meetings and functions.

Supper room

This room is 7 metres x 8.4 metres and can be hired separately or with the kitchen, main hall and meeting room.

The venue is a self-service model: all hirers are responsible for set-up, pack-down and cleaning of the venue before the conclusion of hire.

The Supper room has a capacity of 40 people.

Accessibility

Burpengary Community Hall is accessible from the shared car park with a covered portico at the front door for drop off.

There are 2 designated accessible car parking bays and the venue has an internal accessible toilet. The supper room has a separate entry or can be accessed through the main hall foyer.

Please inspect the venue prior to booking to ensure the facility meets your accessibility requirements.

Bookings

Regular hire is available at this facility. A regular hirer is an individual or organisation that has bookings on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.

Please note the following:

booking requests are required at least five days prior to the requested hire date.
a minimum of one hour hire applies to all bookings.
council may charge a refundable security bond to cover potential damage to the facility during hire.

Review site induction program and complete registration. Note the reference number provided. You will need this number to complete your application.

All hirers are required to complete an online venue induction prior to their booking. Inductions are current for 12 months.

Restrictions

Hirers are not permitted to sleep in the venue overnight, however, equipment may be left in the venue if the hirer has a booking for the following day by arrangement with Hall Management
Smoking is prohibited in, and within 5 metres of Council venues, except for designated smoking areas
The use of open flames including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machines is prohibited
Decorative items such as glitter, rice, sand or confetti is not permitted
Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage; this includes, but is not limited to sticky tape, pins or tacks
Animals, with the exception of assistance animals, are not permitted in council venues without prior approval.

Venue inspections

Council may provide prospective hirers with one inspection prior to booking. Inspections are conducted between 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM business days and subject to hall availability.
