Bellthorpe Community Hall

Bellthorpe Community Hall is a rustic style timber hall located in the beautiful Moreton Bay hinterland. The peaceful mountain back-drop is ideal for rustic country themed weddings or events.

The hall is 13.5 metres x 7.7 metres with a 4 metre x 7.7 metre stage and has wall heaters to provide a cosy atmosphere during the winter months.

A covered outside area compliments the hall and a tennis court at the rear is available to hire.

The venue is a self-service model: all hirers are responsible for set-up / pack-down and cleaning of the venue before the conclusion of hire.

The hall has a capacity of 80 people.

Accessibility

Bellthorpe Community Hall has external ramp access into the supper room from the front of the venue. An accessible toilet is located at the rear of the hall. The venue has limited pathways and car parking and an inspection of the venue prior to booking is recommended to ensure the facility meets your accessibility requirements.

Bookings

Bellthorpe Community Hall is managed by the Bellthorpe Progress Association on behalf of Council. The hall is available for hire from 7:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight).

Booking, cancellation and cleaning fees may be applicable.

Restrictions

Hirers are not permitted to sleep in the venue overnight, however, equipment may be left in the venue if the hirer has a booking for the following day by arrangement with Hall Management.
Smoking is prohibited in, and within 5 metres of Council venues, except for designated smoking areas.
The use of open flames including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machines is prohibited.
Decorative items such as glitter, rice, sand or confetti is not permitted.
Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage; this includes, but is not limited to sticky tape, pins or tacks.
Animals, with the exception of assistance animals, are not permitted in council venues without prior approval.

Venue inspections

Hall Management may provide prospective hirers the opportunity to view the hall prior to booking. Inspections are by appointment only and depend upon the availability of the venue.
