Inspiring creative experiences for your wellbeing across City of Moreton Bay.

Active participation in arts and culture leads to improvements in personal wellbeing and social cohesion. The Joy Connection program provides a diverse selection of workshops and activities for connection and creativity. It aims to encourage active participation and provide a safe and gentle entry into arts and culture.

All workshops and activities are led by friendly professionals. There are plenty of intergenerational activities everyone can join, from kids to grandparents. No previous experience is required.

Program dates and themes

Winter program

  • When: 14 July - 20 August 2025
  • Theme: Hygge is the Danish/Norwegian term for getting cosy and comfortable. Get your hygge on with 4 creative sessions to ignite the warmth within.

Spring program

  • When: 29 September - 7 November 2025
  • Theme: Flora and fauna abound in the beautiful surrounds of City of Moreton Bay. Stay tuned for our spring program.
