Inspiring creative experiences for your wellbeing across City of Moreton Bay.

Active participation in arts and culture leads to improvements in personal wellbeing and social cohesion. The Joy Connection program provides a diverse selection of workshops and activities for connection and creativity. It aims to encourage active participation and provide a safe and gentle entry into arts and culture.

All workshops and activities are led by friendly professionals. These workshops are for all ages and abilities. Children must be accompanied by an adult and carers are welcome to participate alongside clients. No previous experience is required.

Program dates and themes

Autumn program

  • When: Activities from 1 February to 26 February 2027
  • Theme: Raise your voice with the City Sings group singing workshops from 21 April to 29 May 2027.

Winter program

  • When: 5 July to 13 August 2027
  • Theme: Many hands making together! Get your hands busy making wind chimes, nature books, clay creatures, macrame and pinwheel mandalas. Connect and create.
