Paints must be disposed of at a specific facility that manages these materials.
Never place in wheelie bins or mixed with household waste to prevent spills and safety hazards.
Never pour paint into sinks, toilets or household drains.
Paintback stewardship scheme
Paintback is available only at the Bunya waste facility. It includes domestic and commercial architectural and decorative paints under the Paintback product stewardship scheme.
Disposal is limited to 100 litres of paint and containers per customer.

Notes and conditions
- Domestic disposal is limited to a total of 20 litres of paint, primer and thinners per visit.
- Commercial disposal of paint, primer or thinners is not accepted at Council waste facilities with the exception of the Paintback stewardship scheme at Bunya waste management facility.
