Tall and shady trees surround Wyllie Park making it an easy escape in the middle of Petrie. There's plenty of parking available or for a low-stress travel option, the train is only a few minutes walk away!
With the park's natural shade, this is the perfect spot for a picnic or if you prefer a sausage sizzle use the electric barbecues.
You can walk off your lunch with one of the many pathways, some trailing alongside the North Pine River. Don't forget to stay hydrated and use the water bubblers.
The kids will have fun on the shaded playground, and they can bring binoculars to see the many native animals we have in the park. If they want to cool down in the summer months, you can walk across the road to The Mill water park and play space.
This park is the perfect place to reconnect with nature in Moreton Bay.
