Newport Park

Newport Park is an exciting spot with something to do for everyone.

The park's expansive green space is the perfect place to play a quick game of football or catch with friends and family.

Kids can enjoy the boat-themed playground with its playful steering wheel and fun climbing features. Parents and carers can rest easy knowing the bark and soft floor matting will help to protect from falls.

If you have a furry friend in the family, they can walk in the park with you on-lead, and when they're itching for a run there's an enclosed off-leash dog area for them. Dogs must be kept on lead throughout the park and be kept 10 metres away from the kids' playground.

Once you've worked up an appetite, use the electric barbecue facilities and the sheltered picnic tables to enjoy a hot lunch.

Other facilities include a toilet block, water fountains and bins.
