Matheson Park

Matheson Park is a sport and recreation facility that is home to an array of community organisations.  

These community organisations hold Council leases and sports field permits over facilities on-site. For bookings and event enquiries, refer to Events in public spaces. 

When your local team is playing, support them on the sidelines or cheer them on from the seats around the fields. 

When you’re hungry, heat up the electric barbecue for a hot lunch.  

For kids, they can have fun at the nearby Sweeney Reserve. There’s a partially fenced kids’ playground with soft-fall mats to protect them from harsh falls. Other facilities at the reserve include an accessible toilet block, water fountains, and an enclosed off-leash area for dogs.
