John Scott Park

John Scott Park in Samford Village is a large park with open spaces for everyone to enjoy.

You can take on your friends on the half-basketball court or bring your bike and try out the BMX track. The exciting kids' playgrounds have bark and soft fall matting to minimise harsh falls. If you have a picnic blanket, sit down on the grass beneath one of the shady trees.

Other facilities include sheltered barbecue facilities, toilets and water fountains.

Event bookings

There is a grassed area between the playground and museum available for booking. This area is suitable for medium to large events and measures 100 metres by 40 metres.
