Old Petrie Town Pioneer Hall

Located within the historic Old Petrie Town, the Pioneer Room is the perfect location for your next event. Approximately 5 minutes from the Petrie train station, this space is suitable for a range of events.

The venue features a large open-plan space with sweeping verandas and bushland views. Internal features include exposed wooden beams, wooden floors, a barn-style chandelier and a stage area.

The venue is a self-service model. All hirers are responsible for set-up, catering, pack-down and cleaning of the venue before the conclusion of the hire.

Capacity

The hall has a capacity of 120 people.

Accessibility

The Old Petrie Town Pioneer Hall is accessible via the main entry door, with an internal accessible toilet. Please inspect the venue before booking to ensure the facility meets your accessibility requirements.

Bookings

The venue is available to hire between 6:00 AM to 12:00 AM (midnight).

Restrictions

Hirers are not permitted to sleep in the venue overnight.

Equipment may be left in the venue if the hirer has a booking for the following day, or by arrangement with hall management.

Smoking is not permitted in, or within 5 metres of Council venues, except for designated smoking areas.

The use of open flames, including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machines, is prohibited.

Decorative items such as glitter, rice, rose petals, sand or confetti are prohibited.

Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage; this includes, but is not limited to, sticky tape, pins or tacks.

Animals, except for assistance animals, are not permitted in Council venues without Council approval.

Venue Inspections

Hall Management may provide prospective hirers the opportunity to view the hall prior to booking.

Inspections are by appointment only and depend upon hall manager and venue availability.
