Council's customer service centres will be closed from 12:00 PM on Wednesday, 24 December, reopening on Monday, 5 January 2026 at 8:30 AM.
The Public Transport Strategy - Strategic Vision provides the vision for the Moreton Bay Region's public transport network. The remainder of the strategy will be available when finalised. The strategy aligns Council's vision for public transport with local investment, and seeks to complement State Government investment in public transport to the benefit of the Moreton Bay community.
Local residents, business people and visitors to the region need convenient transport options that are affordable and reliable. The strategy considers it is in Council's interest to ensure local residents, visitors and workers in the region are best served by public transport. Public transport is a choice for some, but a necessity for people without access to a car.
