The Strategic framework outlines the 20-year vision for growth and development in the Moreton Bay Region. It divides the region into 13 place types. These place types explain the level of growth and form of development that is expected in different neighbourhoods and communities throughout the Moreton Bay Region. Enterprise and Employment areas is one of these 13 place types.

Enterprise and Employment places are home to well-designed local employment hubs catering for manufacturing, engineering, transport, warehousing and related business activities.

Council is committed to supporting high levels of local employment within the Moreton Bay Region.

Business growth which occurs in these places is critical for future employment opportunities throughout the Moreton Bay Region.

Where can I find an Enterprise and Employment place type?

Enterprise and Employment places will predominately be found in Burpengary, Brendale, Caboolture, Caboolture West, Clontarf, Dakabin, Elimbah East, Everton Hills, Morayfield, Narangba, North Lakes and Rothwell.

These places will develop as the prime location for small, medium and large scale trade, business and industry in the Moreton Bay Region.
