Ready to take your art to the next level? Join us at North Lakes Community Centre to discover how digital tools can support your creativity.

In 2027, Council will launch the City of Moreton Bay Outdoor Gallery, a new public art experience. It features large-scale lightboxes, moving-image projections, and LED screens across the city.

This event shows how artists use these platforms in their work. You'll learn how new media can strengthen storytelling, deepen ideas and expand artistic practice.

At the event, you will hear from three artists who work across different mediums. These artists are Lauren Edmonds, Charlie Hillhouse, and Si Yi Shen. They use video, animation, projection and digital processes in thoughtful and imaginative ways.

They will share why they chose digital media, how they develop ideas, and what they've learned.

This session is about inspiration, not technical training. It offers a starting point for artists curious about working in digital and time-based work.

This event is perfect for creatives interested in experimenting with digital media.
