Beachmere Hub - Main entry

The Beachmere Hub is located in the quiet seaside village of Beachmere.  It is within easy walking distance to local shops and sandy stretches of Moreton Bay. With public transport virtually at its door, the Hub is nestled beside the local bowling greens and sits within Clayton Park with its green open spaces and gardens as well as nearby children's playground. The main kitchen capacity is 10 people.

This multi-room venue has recently been refurbished and has commercial kitchen facilities as well as access to a share covered verandah on the eastern side of the venue overlooking the bowling greens.

The Kitchen is located off the Bay Function Room and can be booked separately. The Kitchen can be accessed through the Bay Room or through a separate external kitchen entry. The kitchen is well equipped with commercial cooking equipment, dishwasher, glass washer and has ample bench and preparation space.  Two additional drinks fridges are located in the Bar area which is included with Kitchen hire.

This venue is a self-service model. The hirer is responsible for set-up, pack-down and cleaning. Some services and catering may be available on request for an additional charge.


The Kitchen has a capacity of 10 people.


An accessible car parking bay is provided in the main car park at the front of the Hub entry. A continuous accessible path of travel is provided to the principal pedestrian entrances of the building.

Access is provided via a ramp leading to the main entrance of the building.

An accessible toilet is provided in the Hub as well as ambulant toilets in both male and female amenities.

Please inspect the Hub prior to booking to ensure it meets your accessibility requirements.


This facility is managed by Beachmere Area Network Group Inc (BANG) on behalf of council. Bookings are made by contacting the Hub manager by email, phone or completing the booking enquiry form. The room is available to hire between 6:00 AM and 12:00 midnight.

Note: No utensils, serving equipment, dishwashing liquid (except for dishwasher), washcloths or tea towels are provided.

Hourly and daily rates are available with discounts for not-for-profit organisations. Casual rates start at $20.50 per hour, $205.00 per day and $10.25 per hour for not-for-profit groups.


  • Venue is available for hire between the hours of 6:00 AM - 12:00 AM (midnight).
  • Hirers are not permitted to stay/sleep in the facility overnight however equipment may be left overnight at the hirers risk if the hirer has a booking the following day or by arrangement.
  • Smoking is prohibited in, and within 5 meters of, Council venues, except for designated smoking areas.
  • The use of open flames including but not limited to candles, lanterns or smoke machines is prohibited.
  • Decorative items such as glitter, rice, sand or confetti are not permitted.
  • Decorations must not be affixed in any way that may cause damage. This includes, but is not limited to, sticky tape, pins or tacks.
  • Animals, with the exception of assistance animals, are not permitted in council venues without prior approval.
  • Smoke/haze machines, jumping castles, barbeques and spits require approval before use in the Hub.

Venue inspections

The venue manager provides prospective hirers with a complimentary inspection prior to their booking. Inspections are conducted by appointment only and depending on availability of the venue.
