William Berry Drive Upgrade completed

Stage 3B of the William Berry Drive Upgrade is now complete.

This stage included:

road pavement reconstruction
stormwater drainage upgrades
road resurfacing.

These changes improved the safety, condition and long-term performance of William Berry Drive.

The completion of Stage 3B marks the end of the entire William Berry Drive Upgrade. Across all stages, works have delivered significant improvements to the road.

Across all stages, these works improved:

pavement condition
drainage infrastructure
safety and resilience of the road corridor.

The completion of the project provides long-term benefits for road users. The project supports a safer and more reliable travel for residents, businesses and visitors.

Location of works

The first section (red) represents stage 1 which spanned for 7 weeks. The time period was from mid-May to early July.

The second section (yellow) represents the 4 week period of stage 2. This stage extended from early July through to early August.

The third and final stage indicated by green lasted approximately 6 weeks from early August to mid September.
