John Oxley Reserve

John Oxley Reserve is a sport and recreation facility that is home to an array of community organisations.

These organisations hold Council leases and sports field permits over facilities on-site. For bookings and event enquiries, refer to Events in public spaces.

This reserve in Murrumba Downs spans 10 hectares of public park and nature reserve. It features a bush pathway leading to a boardwalk by the North Pine River. If you're lucky, you may spot a koala in the trees!

The kids' playground will keep children of all ages busy for hours. Children are spoilt for choice with the fort-style playground, slides, a swing set, bridges and tunnels. It also has a separate area suited to toddlers.

The reserve has public toilets, electric barbecues, seating areas and parking, making it perfect for a day out with friends and family.

It hosts various sports including athletics, soccer, triathlon and rug tag throughout the year. Everyone is welcome to come and watch. Show your support and cheer on your favourite player. For game information, check the club's social media or website.
