Jetty Square

Jetty Square Park - Wedding area image 2

Woody Point’s Jetty Square in Crockett Park is a small, grassed area next to the Woody Point Jetty.

The jetty, first built in 1888, became a beloved icon of this coastal town and a popular spot to cast a line. In 2008, upgrades to the jetty included the installation of purpose-built fishing tables and sheltered picnic areas. Lighting runs along the length of the jetty so anglers can fish at any hour, even at night.

The square offers stunning sunset views over Bramble Bay, followed by a magical display of Brisbane’s city lights at night. With cafes and restaurants close by, it's the perfect setting for a romantic date. Afterwards, take a stroll along the peninsula. A pathway runs from the square to the Hornibrook Pier in Clontarf.

Many couples choose this waterfront spot for their wedding ceremonies. The bay and jetty provide a backdrop rich in coastal charm and history. Your wedding day will be magic as you exchange vows to the sounds of gentle waves hitting the shore.

The square is also a great place to witness Redcliffe’s annual Kitefest. Pack a picnic blanket and some fish and chips and enjoy watching the bay burst into a vibrant display of colour.

The square doesn't have amenities, but public toilets and a playground are 150 meters away at Crocket Park. The square is in a very busy area and has limited parking.

Park bookings

A bookable space in the square's centre is available for small wedding ceremonies. The setting is idyllic, overlooking Moreton and Bramble Bay. Afterwards, utilise the jetty and surrounding areas for great photos. The wedding area measures 30 metres by 30 metres.
