Are you looking for a quick seaside respite? Visit Gary Parsons Park in Bongaree, a quiet and relaxing park situated beside the Pumicestone Passage.
You can sit on one of the benches beneath the tall and shady trees, watching as boats go to and from the channel. There are also picnic tables available for you to enjoy some lunch by the water.
For the fitness-focused, there is exercise equipment you can use to strengthen your arms and legs. If you prefer cardio, get your heart racing with a brisk jog on the flat pathway or take it easy and go for a walk.
Gary Parsons Park also has direct beach access. Make your way to the sandy shore and scour the sand for shells and other small sea critters.
