Who can apply

Grants are available for members of Council’s Voluntary Conservation Programs including Voluntary conservation agreements, Land for Wildlife, and Backyards for Wildlife.

The second round of grants available during 2020/21 is only open to members of the Voluntary Conservation Agreement program.

The grants assist landholders to complete environmental projects on their properties which aim to protect and enhance native vegetation and wildlife habitat.

What funding is available

Grants are available up to a maximum of:

  • $2,500 per Voluntary conservation agreement property
  • $750 for a Land for wildlife
  • $500 for Backyards for wildlife

How to apply

Submissions for Voluntary Conservation Program members for the 2021/22 round of grant applications will open on Wednesday 1 September 2021 and will run to midnight on 30 September 2021. 

Review the guidelines(PDF, 286KB) before applying. Project completion and all acquittals are required by Tuesday 31 May 2022.
