Join artist and educator Dr Natalia Balo for a hands-on workshop at Osprey House. Whether you love birds, enjoy being outdoors, or want to try something creative, this workshop is for you!

Natalia is an award-winning artist, author and teacher. She will cover the basics of bird illustration, with a focus on Australia’s iconic Laughing Kookaburra.

Through simple demonstrations and guided drawing, you will:

learn principles and techniques of sketching birds
explore basic bird anatomy and topography
build your observation skills.

You can practise these skills both indoors and in the centre's birdwatching areas.

This workshop offers a relaxed and creative environment to learn, draw, and connect with others. You’ll also discover an appreciation for local birdlife and conservation.

Beginners are welcome, and all materials are provided.
