Artist of the Month - July

The Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery is proud to feature Diane Sattler as its Artist of the Month for July.

Diane lives in the Moreton Bay region and loves creating art with watercolours. She also enjoys sketching and experimenting with acrylic paints. While she has not had formal art training, she has attended several workshops over the years. Diane prefers to be creative and develop her own unique style.

Her artwork includes portraits, animals, landscapes, abstract pieces, and ink artworks that complement her flowing watercolour techniques.

Diane first displayed her artwork publicly at the 2009 Woodford Show, where she won 1st place, 3rd place, and a Highly Commended award in the watercolour section. Since then, she has continued to receive awards for her artwork.

Diane’s work can be seen at the Woodford Community Art Gallery, Kilcoy Courthouse Art Gallery, and on Blue Thumb, an Australian online art platform.
