Microchipping

Council provides subsidised microchipping at Council's Dakabin Animal Pound, Goodwin Road, Dakabin - View map.

To make an appointment contact the Dakabin Animal Pound on (07) 3480 6450.

You will be required to provide Photo ID as proof of age and residency in Moreton Bay Region, when attending the Pound.

Microchipping for cats or dogs costs 149874 including GST and covers supply and implant of microchip as well as microchip registration.

If an unregistered animal attends the shelter for microchipping, registration must be completed whilst at the facility.
