About the facilitator

Josh Fauid is a proud Torres Strait Islander descendant from Poruma Island, located within the Kulkalgal Nation. As an entrepreneur and community engagement officer, Josh is dedicated to empowering success within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people.

He shares his culture and stories with the wider community and has collaborated with organizations like NGV and Blak Designs, designing unique pieces for fashion runways. He also facilitates the Boys Pod Program in collaboration with the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Josh creates works that often incorporate traditional storytelling and elements of coastal life and history.
