Public computers, printing and scanning
Our libraries provide access to public computers and printers to help you study, work, connect and get things done online.
These computers use Windows and have Microsoft Office and access to the internet.
Use of the computers and printers is subject to our terms and conditions.
Using a computer
You must be a library member to use the computers. If you are not a member, you can sign up online. Membership is free.
There is a daily limit of two hours of computer use per customer per day. Sessions cannot be extended beyond this limit.
Saving files and media
You cannot save anything to the computer. All data is deleted at the end of each session and cannot be recovered.
We recommend saving your work regularly to a USB device or cloud storage.
Booking a computer
Booking a computer is recommended, especially during busy times. You can book online via Library eKiosk, in person, or by phoning your local library.
Book online
If you do not have a booking, you may need to wait until a computer is available.
Printing, copying and scanning
All libraries offer printing, copying and scanning services in:
- A4 and A3 sizes
- Colour and black and white
You can also send documents to our printers from home or your personal device using web print. Once your files are sent, visit any library to pay for and print your documents.
