City of Moreton Bay Libraries supports local writers by providing free writers' events, spaces to work and the opportunity to share your work with our library customers.
Local self-published, or independently published, authors are encouraged to submit a copy of their new or forthcoming title to City of Moreton Bay Libraries to be considered for assessment and inclusion in the collection. Local authors must be City of Moreton Bay library members and live in the City of Moreton Bay.
All titles, including independently published material or those from a small press, will be assessed against City of Moreton Bay Libraries Collection Statement and must be an original work by the author.
