Dementia-friendly libraries

Libraries across City of Moreton Bay are working towards becoming dementia-friendly venues. We have created an action plan with the community and Dementia Australia. It focuses on community education and staff training. Our aim is more inclusive programming, spaces, and collections in our libraries.

We have resources to support individuals with dementia, their families and carers. Find items in the library or online for dementia support and information, apps and services. View our dementia resources.

Our libraries have accessible parking, access, and toilet facilities. Redcliffe Library has an adult change table facility as part of the Changing Places program.
