Free Wi-Fi at Moreton Bay Region Libraries

Free Wi-Fi is available at all City of Moreton Bay libraries during library opening hours. While there is no time limit, there is a 2GB download limit per device. 

The Wi-Fi is not encrypted or secured but does filter to prevent illegal or inappropriate use. You will be automatically disconnected when you reach the download limit.

How to connect

  1. Open your device's wireless network settings and ensure your Wi-Fi is enabled
  2. Tap on MBRCPublicWifi
  3. Tap connect/join (if prompted)
  4. Your device will now be connected to the network
  5. Open your web browser (for example, Safari or Chrome)
  6. You will be redirected to our terms and conditions webpage
  7. Read and accept the terms and conditions(PDF, 90KB).

Wi-Fi connection issues

If you’re having trouble connecting, speak to library staff first. They may be able to solve your issue quickly. If the problem persists, refer to your manual or contact your device manufacturer for further help.
