Use a sewing machine to sew a simple tote bag with a pocket in this beginners workshop with local artist and craftsperson, Mel Brady.

Free. Bookings required - only teen participants require a ticket. Ages 12-17. All materials supplied.

About the facilitator

Mel Brady is a visual artist, and art and craft facilitator living and working on Gubbi Gubbi country. Her practice includes everything from painting and textiles to site-specific immersive installations that blur the boundaries of art and contemporary craft.

Her fun and bold creative practice is equally matched by her persona as a fun and popular workshop facilitator for galleries, libraries and museums across South-East Queensland.
