Our 15 Authors from around the Moreton Bay Region will share their motivations for writing their books in a small group, speed-dating-style event.

While the event is free, bookings are required. Light refreshments will be served. This event is suitable for adults.

Info for authors

• If you would like to be one of the 15 authors presenting please submit your Expression of Interest by the due date below. Links to EOI forms become accessible on opening date.
• Our event is in a fast paced speed dating format with authors having 4 mins to talk and answer questions about their books with each small group before they move on to the next author.
• Authors need to have capacity to sell their books on the day and can bring merchandise and display materials. Tables will be provided but display space is limited.
• Books may be eligible for inclusion in the City of Moreton Bay Library collection subject to availability and collection policies.

Key dates

• Presenting authors EOIs open | 5:00 PM Friday 1 August.
• Submissions close | 5:00 PM Monday 18 August.
• Authors notified | 5:00 PM Wednesday 17 September.
