Australian Poetry Slam returns to City of Moreton Bay!

Be a part of the audience to judge the best in our region or bring your new poem and compete for a spot in the Queensland final.

Free. Bookings required. All ages.

Looking to compete?

You can sign up to polish your skills in the Masterclass before the performance.

Masterclass starts at 5.00pm.

Separate bookings required for class and slam. Slammers book in as audience and sign on to slam on the night.

Slammer sign on for the Slam heat from 6.30pm.

ABOUT Australian Poetry Slam: 

Performing writers get a microphone, a live audience, and just two minutes to capture the crowd with a new original poem.

The host randomly selects five judges from the audience. After each performance, judges hold up scorecards using a 1-10 scale.
