Meet the Author: Maya Linnell - Bribie Island

Next date: Thursday, 19 June 2025 | 05:30 PM to 06:30 PM

Author Maya Linnell and book cover

Join bestselling author, Maya Linnell, in conversation with local author Catherine Bilson, for the story behind her latest rural romance, Cockatoo Cove.

In the book, Maggie West has chosen a life on the land, founding a successful cattle business. Meanwhile Fergus Abernathy has made a name for himself as a local winemaker.

In spite of their obvious attraction, any developing relationship is being thwarted by misunderstanding and long-withheld secrets; it seems they're never destined to be at the right place at the right time.

Set in the stunning wine country of the Limestone Coast, with border collies, rugged coastlines and generous community spirit, Cockatoo Cove is an exceptional tale showcasing the richness of life on the land.

Free. Bookings required. For adults. Maya will sign copies of her book after the event. Books available for purchase on the day.
