IDAHOBIT Gala - North Lakes

Next date: Saturday, 17 May 2025 | 05:30 PM to 07:00 PM

Two people on catwalk wearing coloured capes

Join us for an inclusive, safe, and exciting event celebrating International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexism, and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT).

We invite all, regardless of identity, to join us as we share, educate, and celebrate the diverse spectrum of human experiences.

There will be an engaging panel session for thought-provoking conversation. This year’s theme is: Welcome to the Masquerade Ball! Our MC, Deborah Fisher, will explore the theme of masks - using them to self-edit our identity, the cost of wearing them and removing them. We’re also joined by members of disability support organisation, CFN, for a masquerade catwalk, showing off masks they’ve made. Members of the audience can make their own mask to wear during the event and take home. Plus, enjoy a drag performance by Will Turn-Her.

Free. Bookings required. For adults.
