Human impact: The Earth under threat

Three students looking at a fish tank

Discover how our everyday actions impact the ocean in this hands‑on, touch‑and‑learn marine session.

Touch marine artefacts—from shark jaws to live sea creatures—while learning more about how humans affect our ocean environments through issues such as pollution, overfishing, habitat loss and the mysterious ocean garbage patches.

This free event is suitable for children ages 5 to12. Bookings are required for all children taking part.
