We hunt mammoth

7 Mar 2026 - 23 May 2026

Man-made items wrapped in netting on display

Claire Healy and Sean Corderio are a collaborative artist duo known for their sculptural and installation artworks that combine humour and art historical references.

We hunt mammoth is a large-scale sculpture of a dismantled Honda car. A total of 121 individual pieces are wrapped with jute rope and bamboo using a traditional Japanese method of packaging known as ‘tsutsumu’.

Healy and Corderio combine ancient and modern traditions of making to interrogate the systems that operate in the world - manufacturing and technology - and our relationships to them.
