Creative space: Tracing the edges

Next date: Sunday, 04 October 2026 | 06:00 AM to Saturday, 24 October 2026 | 04:00 PM

In Tracing the edges, artists Lexie Abel (Wiradjuri) and Libby Harward (Quandamooka) ask us to consider our own position in time, and within the Country we walk on.

At times we might reflect on the history of a place and all it has seen. At other times we look to the future, where we are headed, and what changes will come.

History is like a puzzle, some pieces are hidden, and artists help us find them again.

Artist and educator Clea North asks us to respond, reflect, and compare perspectives through hands-on making activities. Building upon connections to place, people, and understanding history helps us build respect and connection in the present.

Drop in and explore the edges of imagination, connection and identity.
