Create your own original band poster or album cover art in this beginner workshop celebrating all things music and design.

Join talented digital illustrator Desirai Saunders and use iPads to turn your creative concept into a vibrant work in Procreate.

This workshop will be held at Caboolture, Redcliffe and Pine Rivers art galleries during Youth Week 2026. A selection of posters made by participants will be printed and put on display in the Hub Gallery at Caboolture for Make Music Month celebrations from 30 May to 25 June 2026.

Cost $5.00 - bookings essential. Aged 12-19. iPads are provided for the workshop.

About the facilitator

Desirai Saunders is a proud Gunggari woman. She has strong ancestral ties to the Maranoa River region in Queensland.

She is a talented artist who specialises in digital illustration. She blends bold character designs with modern reflections on Aboriginal identity.

Her art is full of emotion and strength. Each piece celebrates powerful First Nations characters through a vibrant, expressive style. Desirai’s portraits explore resilience, connection, and storytelling. She draws inspiration from her culture and the world around her.
