Birman cat, fluffy with blue eyes

Attention all cat lovers, are you looking for the purr-fect way to spend your Saturday?

Morayfield Sport and Events Centre is proud to host the Birman Cat Fanciers Club of Queensland‘s Birman cat show!

Throughout the day, felines will be judged across a range of categories. Prizes will be awarded based on their physical condition, beauty, personality and show presence.

There is sure to be a wide range of colour point variations on show from seal, chocolate, and red to blue, lilac, cream, tabby and tortie.

This cat breed is identifiable by their striking blue eyes, white paws, and colour points. They were first recognised as a breed by the Cat Club de France in 1925.

The Birman Cat Fanciers Club of Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation established in 1990. They aim to promote the Birman cat breed which nearly became extinct during World War II.

Whether you love or own a Birman, join us and celebrate these gentle, social and affectionate felines.
