Next date: Saturday, 16 August 2025 | 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

Join us after dark for an evocative evening at the gallery with Winter Nights.

This year’s Winter Nights edition will include a special in-conversation that brings together skeletons artist Judy Watson and Troy Casey, Blaklash Creative co-Director, for a compelling discussion about Watson's work. Together, they will unpack the untold stories that lie beneath the surface of Australia's colonial past which are uncovered through Watsons artistic process.

skeletons is a poignant exploration of forgotten narratives, Aboriginal resilience and the cultural scars left by colonialism. The exhibition also includes new work commissioned by City of Moreton Bay that examines Redcliffe’s own history.

As we close out the exhibition, reflect on the power of art to confront uncomfortable truths, reclaim lost histories, and reshape our understanding of the past.

Free - bookings required. All welcome.

The exhibition is curated by Amanda Hayman of Blaklash, supported by Milani Gallery, and commissioned by Queensland State Archives.
