Tyson Evans Scholarship Exhibition 2018

This is a yearly exhibition of selected artwork by Tyson Evans Scholarship applicants who must be 12 to 18 years of age and either attend school, or live in the Moreton Bay Regional Council area.

This year’s exhibition celebrates the twentieth year of the Tyson Evans Scholarship. To celebrate this milestone Moreton Bay Regional Council Mayor Allan Sutherland will be donating an additional $2000 to the scholarship funds.

A total of $5000 will be awarded across 6 bursaries as per the following:

  • First prize: A bursary of $2500 for first place will be awarded to the winning entrant, for the purpose of undertaking study, research or tuition in an aspect of the visual arts to further their art education and develop their artistic skills.
  • Second prize: Junior (grades 7-9) 1 x $500 bursary Senior (grades 10-12) 1 x $500 bursary.
  • Additional awards: 3 x $ 500 bursaries to be awarded by the Judge.
