Next date: Saturday, 27 September 2025 | 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Unique sculpture of wire including a blue foam board

Help build the Tower of Possibilities with artist Russell Solomon at Pine Rivers Heritage Museum.

This workshop centres on a collaborative sculpture that flourishes with community engagement.

As your imagination runs wild with possibilities, Russell will offer tips and tricks how to turn your ideas into real objects.

From cranes, bridges, and balconies to tree branches and animals, create your very own embellishment using recycled materials to help build the tower. Remember the possibilities are endless!

Free - bookings required. Please note the final session 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM is designed for neurodivergent people and will be supported by Josephine Mitchell, from In Quiet Company. For ages 8+.

About the artist

Russell Solomon was born into an artistic family. His grandfather Lance Vaiben Solomon won the Wynne Prize twice for landscape painting in 1946 and 1953.

Under his tutelage, Russell honed his drawing skills and concreted his love of line.

In discovering wire and all its artistic potential, Russell created his first wire sculpture in the early 90s and has not looked back.

Russell’s work is concerned mostly with the natural environment, our place in it and our impact on it.
